Digital infrastructure that grows with you
From emerging programs to multi-location organizations — we build systems designed for where you are AND where you're going.
Community Systems Foundation
For small programs ready to get organized
You're serving 20-100 people and running on spreadsheets, personal notebooks, and good intentions. You need real systems — but nothing bloated or overcomplicated. We build the foundational infrastructure that lets you track participants, coordinate volunteers, and actually answer "how many families did we serve?" without a full day of data archaeology.
Best for:
After-school programs, community centers, emerging nonprofits, small educational programs
What we build
- Participant/client intake and registration systems
- Volunteer and staff coordination tools
- Basic impact tracking and reporting dashboards
- Integration of existing tools (Google Workspace, donor databases, scheduling)
- Simple, mobile-friendly interfaces for field staff and volunteers
Scalable Operations Infrastructure
For growing organizations ready to level up
You're serving 100-500 people across multiple programs or locations. The systems that worked when you were smaller are now holding you back. You need custom case management, automated grant reporting, and infrastructure that can handle your growth — without requiring a full-time IT department to maintain.
Best for:
Growing nonprofits, multi-site programs, organizations with multiple funding streams, schools with complex reporting requirements
What we build
- Custom case management or student information systems
- Automated grant reporting and funder communication systems
- Multi-location or multi-program coordination infrastructure
- Data collection pipelines for impact measurement and evaluation
- Compliance documentation and audit-ready systems (FERPA, safeguarding, data protection)
- Role-based access controls and data security infrastructure
White-Label Technical Partnership
For agencies who need reliable technical delivery
You're a consultancy or agency serving social impact organizations. You have the client relationships and the strategic expertise — you just need technical capacity without building an internal dev team. We work behind the scenes: your brand, your client relationship, our build.
Best for:
Nonprofit consultants, social impact agencies, professional services firms serving the sector
What we build
- Backend development and infrastructure for client-facing agencies
- Technical scoping and architecture consultation
- Project delivery on your timeline and brand guidelines
- White-label documentation and client-ready deliverables
- Ongoing technical support for your clients
- NDA and confidentiality agreements standard

Common questions
How much does this cost?
Foundation projects typically start with a one-time setup investment plus monthly support. Scalable infrastructure is a larger build with managed services. White-label partnerships can be project-based or retainer. We'll give you clear numbers after a discovery call — no hidden fees, no surprises.
We're a small nonprofit — can we actually afford this?
Often, yes. Our Foundation tier is designed specifically for organizations with limited budgets. It costs less than hiring a part-time contractor, and unlike hiring someone, you get both technical and strategic expertise. We'll be honest in the discovery call if we're not the right fit.
Is K&J Digital Solutions a nonprofit?
No — we're a consulting practice. We chose the .org domain because our clients are mission-driven organizations and we wanted a domain that felt aligned with that work. But we're a for-profit consultancy, not a charitable organization. We just happen to care deeply about the sector we serve.
How do I know which tier is right for us?
Start with a discovery call — it's free. Generally: if you're serving under 100 people and need to get organized, Foundation. If you're growing, have multiple programs or locations, or need compliance-ready systems, Scalable. If you're an agency, White-Label.
What if we already have systems we hate?
That's most of our clients. We can either help you make peace with what you have (sometimes it just needs better configuration and training) or help you migrate to something that actually fits how you work.
Do you work with organizations outside NYC?
Yes. We work remotely with clients across the US. We're based in New York but flexible with schedules and comfortable with async collaboration.
