Kickoff
Start within 2 weeks of signing
Once we're aligned, we begin our Mission-First Development process. You'll have a dedicated point of contact, regular check-ins, and visibility into progress at every stage. No disappearing into a black box.

How much does this cost?
It depends on scope and complexity. Foundation projects (for smaller orgs getting organized) typically start in the low four figures. Scalable infrastructure (for growing orgs with complex needs) is a larger investment. We'll give you clear numbers after the discovery call — no hidden fees, no surprises. If budget is tight, we'll tell you what's possible within your constraints.
We're a small nonprofit — can we actually afford this?
Often, yes. Our Foundation tier is designed specifically for organizations with limited budgets. It costs less than hiring a part-time contractor, and unlike hiring someone, you get both technical and strategic expertise. We'll be honest in the discovery call if we're not the right fit for your budget. And if you're operating under $75k annually, ask about our Community Assistance Program.
Is K&J Digital Solutions a nonprofit?
No — we're a consulting practice. We chose the .org domain because our clients are mission-driven organizations and we wanted a domain that felt aligned with that work. But we're a for-profit consultancy, not a charitable organization. We just happen to care deeply about the sector we serve.
How long does a typical project take?
Foundation builds are typically 6-8 weeks from kickoff to launch. Scalable infrastructure is 8-12 weeks depending on complexity. Both include post-launch support. White-label timelines vary by project scope. We'll give you a realistic timeline upfront — and we'll tell you if something is more complex than it looks.
What happens after the project is done?
We don't disappear. Every project includes training, documentation, and a support period to make sure your team is confident. After that, you can continue with ongoing support (recommended for complex systems) or fly solo with the tools and knowledge we've transferred.
What if we're not sure what we need?
That's totally fine — and actually pretty common. The discovery call is designed exactly for this. We'll help you figure out what's most important, what can wait, and what a realistic path forward looks like. You don't need to have all the answers before reaching out.
