Community Assistance Program
Because some organizations need a hand up, not a hand out.
We reserve capacity each quarter for mission-critical organizations that can't afford our full services. If you're doing important work in your community but operating on a shoestring budget, we want to hear from you.
Who qualifies?
This program is for organizations with an annual operating budget under $75,000 who meet the following criteria:
Serving underserved communities
Your work directly benefits people who face systemic barriers — whether that's economic, geographic, or social.
Clear, measurable impact
You can articulate what success looks like for the people you serve, even if you don't have fancy metrics yet.
Willingness to pay it forward
We ask that you share your experience — a case study, testimonial, or referral helps us help more organizations like yours.
What we offer
Community Assistance projects are scoped to your most pressing needs. Depending on your situation, that might include:
- Systems audit and recommendations — even if we can't build it all, we'll tell you what to prioritize
- Foundational infrastructure setup (intake forms, basic databases, simple automations)
- Integration of free/low-cost tools you already have access to
- Training for your team so you're not dependent on us long-term
- Documentation so the next person can pick up where we left off

How to apply
The process is simple. Reach out through our contact form and tell us about your organization, the communities you serve, and what's not working with your current systems. We'll review your inquiry and get back to you within two weeks.

What's the catch?
No catch. We reserve capacity each quarter specifically for this work because we believe in it. The only ask is that you're willing to share your story — that helps us demonstrate impact and find more organizations to support.
How many organizations do you support?
We typically take on 1-2 Community Assistance projects per quarter, depending on scope. We're a small team and want to do this well rather than spread ourselves thin.
What if we grow and can afford to pay later?
That's the dream. If your organization grows to the point where you can afford our standard services, we'd love to continue working together. But there's no obligation — our goal is to set you up for independence.
How long does the application process take?
We review applications monthly. If we think there's a fit, we'll schedule a 30-minute call to learn more. From application to decision is usually 2-3 weeks.
What if we don't qualify?
We'll still try to help. Even if we can't take you on as a Community Assistance project, we're happy to point you toward free resources, recommend other organizations, or give you a quick consultation on where to start.
